We have taken many different accounts and documents from diverse sources and compiled them into one information package that we are calling The McCargar History. These documents and accounts include: military muster rolls and orderly books, census records, land and property assessment records, probate records, town and village records, newspaper articles, third-party accounts, family lore, and a smattering of speculation.
If you have any information that supports or contradicts the material in these history documents, please let us know at: queries@mccargar.com (please provide sources where possible).
